What We Do

MyEChinese online tutoring program offers non-native Chinese learners the experience of studying Chinese “face to face” with our Chinese teachers via Skype or other distance communication tools in both one-on-one and group modes. Through the online tutoring learners will have access to direct guidance and help from the teachers, so they can improve their Chinese competency efficiently.

MyEChinese online tutoring program was launched by the Chinese Language Center, the Open University of China, which is a professional institution of Chinese teaching, research, and resource development for overseas Chinese learners. The Chinese Language Center offers a wide range of teaching programs and materials on Chinese language and culture to learners all over the world via distance communication tools.

Type 1: Choose Online Tutoring Classes with MyEChinese Online Self-Study Courses

Practical Chinese - Intensive: China Panorama

China Panorama is a gradual and general Chinese course designed for learners who wish to improve their Chinese proficiency starting at both a beginning or a more advanced level. The course focuses on improving one’s comprehensive Chinese ability in terms of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. • Targeted group: learners above 16 years old with the ability to study independently.
• Study mode: self-study prior to the online tutoring + online tutoring class
• Suggested schedule: 3 – 6 hours online self-study course + 2 hours online tutoring classes for each unit

Fast Track Program: Easy Chinese

Easy Chinese is a series of practical Chinese crash course that include 11 themes which cover nearly every topic used in daily communication. It helps learners quickly gain command of the most authentic and practical Chinese words and phrases and learn about the fundamentals of Chinese culture. Each theme contains 7-9 lessons.

• Targeted group: adult learners
• Study mode: self-study prior to the online tutoring + online tutoring class
• Suggested schedule: 1 hour online self-study course + 1 hour online tutoring class for each lesson

Type 2: Listening and Speaking Chinese Online Tutoring Class (Customized)

This class is mainly targeted towards training learners in term of Chinese listening and speaking, and the teaching content can be tailored to the needs of the learners.

• Targeted group: from beginners to advanced learners of all age groups
• Study mode: online tutoring class
• Suggested schedule: at least 2 hours of online tutoring classes per week

Type 3: New HSK Online Tutoring Class (Customized)

This class is mainly targeted towards tutoring New HSK test takers from level 1 to level 6, and will help test takers familiarize themselves with the test and improve their general skills for taking the test.

• Targeted group: New HSK test takers
• Study mode: online tutoring class
• Suggested schedule: at least 2 hours of online tutoring classes per week
